There’s a specific kind of calm that comes from walking into a crisis so many times that while others freeze, you already know what to do next.
I’ve spent four decades doing exactly that. Distressed companies, scaling companies, complex M&A, recapitalizations, restructurings, bankruptcies. Every industry. Every size. I’ve managed some of the largest distressed corporate portfolios of their era — situations where the stakes were existential and the margin for error was zero.
I’m a CPA — active in California and Tennessee — with a forensic accounting discipline that shapes everything I do. I don’t accept the financial picture. I verify it. That investigative lens is what separates a real diagnosis from a guess.
